Vitaly Balasanyan visited Berdzor with the Russian peacekeeping troops and the Azerbaijani side, Artsakh Security Council informs the purpose of the visit |tert.am|


Regarding the visit of Artsakh security council secretary Vitaly Balasanyan to Berdzor, Tert.am sent an inquiry to the Security Council office, asking if Balasanyan visited Berdzor accompanied by Azerbaijani officials and Russian peacekeepers, for what purpose and whether a request was made to the residents of Aghavno and Berdzor not to burn their houses.

In response to the inquiry, the Security Council of Artsakh replied:

"There are no comments on the 3 questions presented. Referring to Balasanyan's visit to Berdzor, it is conditioned by the tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020, in order to get acquainted with the progress of the construction of the new route connecting Artsakh to Armenia, and took place together with the Russian peacekeeping troops stationed in the Republic of Artsakh, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani side."

Earlier a Berdzor resident told Aravot.am that the Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council, Vitaly Balasanyan, visited Berdzor with Azerbaijani officials and showed the houses of Berdzor residents that will be handed over to the Azerbaijanis in the coming days.
