We have not seen Pashinyan's clear proposals regarding the operation of peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh, Lavrov responded to Pashinyan's statement |tert.am|

During a press conference in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, answered a journalist's question about whether Russia sees the need to sign a separate memorandum on the mandate of Russian peacekeeping troops in Artsakh.

The journalist quoted RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement at yesterday's Cabinet meeting that a number of events that have taken place in Nagorno Karabakh since November 2020, including the events of the last few days, are raising awareness among the Armenian public about the content and essence of the peacekeeping operation in Nagorno Karabakh.

In response to this, Lavrov said: "It is difficult for me to answer this question because we have not seen clear proposals that the RA Prime Minister wants to discuss in the context of the operation of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Nagorno-Karabakh. Therefore, I cannot make guesses. Of course, each of the parties to the agreements reached between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia has the right to come up with additional initiatives, but so far we have not seen any proposals."
